I live in Chattanooga with my husband and favorite dog, Willow. I have a passion for all things creative, things in nature, science and art. I enjoy kayaking, gardening and yoga. On my bucket list is to fly a small plane, learn to fish, go to Africa and play in a great, big, fluffy snow again! I hope my artistic endeavors point the the Creator who is the giver of all good things! I believe in my students and see them as the bright lights of the future and it is a joy to teach and learn together at CVMS!

Geoffrey James is in his second year at CVMS. He attended CVMS and graduated from Ridgeland High School in 2005. This summer, he and his wife welcomed their first child, Parker Rose James. Mr. James is excited about the chance to teach a new group of students!

Mr. Todd Zinkann, Computer Science
Mr. Zinkann grew up in Kankakee, Illinois and has been at Chattanooga Valley Middle School for 29 years. Before coming to the valley he was the band director at Whitwell HS for seven years. He taught band for a majority of his time in the valley but now teaches computer science and coaches the our highly successfully robotics team. He is married and has three children, a daughter and two sons. He is a huge soccer fan and part owner of the Chattanooga Football Club.
