Mrs. Katelyn Crawford, Guidance counselor
Katelyn Crawford has been a member of the Chattanooga Valley community most of her life. She attended Chattanooga Valley Middle School and is a Ridgeland High School graduate. Katelyn has been working with children and families since 2014 through the Vocational Rehabilitation and community based mental health agencies. Through her partnerships with the school systems, Ms. Crawford found her passion for working as a school counselor. She is thrilled to begin working at CVMS! Ms. Crawford is also coaching volleyball! She fell in love with volleyball in 4th grade when she attended her first volleyball camp, and continued to play in middle and high school. In addition to her work in the school system, Ms. Crawford is a mom, a child therapist at a non-profit, and a registered yoga instructor. She loves riding motorcycles, roller skating, paddleboarding, and camping. Ms. Crawford believes in creating a positive and supportive environment that allows every student to reach their full potential. She believes that school connectedness improves life skills such as teamwork, confidence, communication, and perseverance.
