Chattanooga Valley Middle School – Technology Student Association(TSA) –
Competition Team Competes at State TSA Conference and at National TSA Conference.

State Conference

Our team of 17 students is pictured outside the convention center in Athens, Georgia.   They attended the Georgia TSA Leadership Conference, along with 17 adults from CVMS and over 2500 students from around the state of Georgia.

Here, we competed in 21 competitions and placed as the seventh best chapter.

Eighteen of our competitions placed in the top ten.
Sam Dickson and Reece Genter placed first in Problem Solving. Brittney Bateman, Kate Hixon, Sarah Williams, and Alexis Maloney placed third in Website Design.

National Conference

Brittney Bateman, Samuel Bednar, Sam Dickson, Reece Genter, Kate Hixon, Ben Lamontagne, Riley McBee, and Sarah Williams also represented CVMS and Georgia TSA at the National TSA Conference in Nashville, Tennessee this summer. Ben Lamontagne and Samuel Bednar placed as a finalist with their bridge in Engineering Structures.   Thirteen adults and four other students also attended the Nashville conference.
